We foster, usual the bigger harder to home dogs. They girl we have now hasn't had ant training and struggled in the rescue center. Life is happy for her now, but that means she gets VERY excited for walks. She doesn't just pull, she drags! She is strong and training her to walk with a loose lead has been the biggest challenge we needed to tackle. First walk with the harness and it changed the game. She was brilliant. We got her size 3 as we didn't want it tight and it fits well, if she pulls it tightens. Its really easy to put on, and now she knows what it is, she will sit and allow me to place it over her noes. Its made walks safer for not just me but her. It gives her more of a chance to find a forever home. Really easy to take off too, the bottom ring - lead attaches to, which then also attaches to her collar. The back hook is a safety clip which we also hook to her collar. The first time we used it we didn't know where that bit was meant to go, but soon figured out she cant slip out of they all link to her collar. She hasn't tried to rub her face with it on, which i expected. She seems to not notice it! So it must be comfortable otherwise she wouldn't sit as still while I put it on. We've tried slip leads, spring back leads and treats/corrections but this made training easy. I now don't need the halti to walk her, I can use a regular lead on her collar and she will walk with me not drag me. So as a training aid, this really has been life changing for her. I feel confident i dont need to use it anymore but because she doesn't mind it, I continue with it especially if I'm walking her with my kids (5) &(10) just to be fully confident she won't tried to chase a squirrel or bird while I'm also watching my children.I like how you can adjust it if needed too, so if she gets any bigger i can continue to use this rather than having to buy another. Quality wise- brilliant. It cleans well with a damp cloth. Colour is lovely and makes her look more approachable. Really, I can't think of anything negative to say. If I had to, I'd only suggest a little instruction on how to attache it to the lead and collar but really after you have it on, you should be able to suss it out. If you dog can slip it, you either have the wrong size or you haven't attached it to the collar and leader. Happy purchase! And worth every single penny as this girl has a much bigger chance of finding her forever family thanks to this product. Brilliant!
